Facilitating Student Voice through Sandwich Principle of Teaching (SPoT): Research-Led Teaching in English Language Teaching (ELT)

This study explores the implementation of Sandwich Principle Teaching (SPoT) in facilitating students to voice their thoughts properly while learning about research English Language (ELT). case is guided by theory research-led teaching from Walkington and SPoT Wahl. The employed 30 higher education as participants. In 14 weeks, teacher alternately used traditional collaborative learning. were involved various experiences; formulating lesson goals, reading journal articles, selecting article, identifying gap, choosing defining topics. findings revealed that integration into provides guidance for teach space thought under language program. show a positive attitude on students’ experiences each stage program through SPoT. Based findings, it concluded could provide They got better they engage actively class well.
